Interior interests

Its been a while. I have been missing a few days, had a few days on a few days off, weekends away and such. But enough with the excuses, the Minis not going to build itself, although that would be very very useful ( strokes beard).

I have been focusing on the interior a little bit ( hence the title). Fabricating a handbrake mount, cutting the dashboard from some plywood and modifying the top panel. The top panel needed extending 3 inches as the dash sits a little further away from the windscreen.

These will all need upholstering, so will need to teach myself how to stitch ( fun and games hey). As I want to keep the dashboard as standard looking as possible, I will be almost transplanting components from the old dash to the new one, with the addition of some Smiths digital gauges.
