Getting Interesting

So the body shell was starting to take shape and I had a mean looking engine in a frame ready to bolt to the shell. (simple as that). The story becomes longer as it normally does with these type of projects. The thing is, is iam trying to create a vehicle that encapsulates everything I have ever dreamed of having, (to a certain extent). So As the project develops I will constantly change things to improve it, make it more reliable and maybe more powerful?

So I got to the point where I had the engine on the shell, I had the original honda wiring loom in place. The engine cranked which was good enough for me at that stage. However something was still missing.

Yes AWD! Or as Honda call it Realtime AWD. Now I knew this was going to put the project off by a ong way and I had a year in Industry planned for the year 2014/2015 so very little work would be done. If I was going to pull this off I had to work miracles. The miracle lay with yet more cutting discs for the angle grinder. Doing my reasearch I discovered many ways to mount the rear diff and very kindly Honda made the bolt pattern on the Civic and the CRV engine the same. Ill let pictures do the talking........
