As many projects of this type take various different directions I thought I would outline what I personally want to aim for in this project. This way people reading can view how successful the outcome is and whether there are any alterations and why they happened.

 

1. Over everything in the project I want to keep the external appearance of the mini to be as standard as possible. Meaning no crazy arches, bonnet scoops, spoilers or turbos sticking out the grill like the car is puking up...

2. Have considerable power and torque figures whilst trying to maintain grip. I want to drive the car and not be sliding everywhere

3. Be completely Road legal. I believe the IVA test is needed so will need to comply with its regulations

4. Have a standard length roundnose front end. I am not a fan of the of the extended fronts and the clubman just doesnt do much for me. :)

5. be as comfortable as possible for my long limbed self. Sorry anyone small wanting to drive it..
