Kitchen
The original kitchen was in desperate need of TLC. The ceiling joists were on show and stained in an attempt to create an exposed beam look. There were floor tiles as worktops and the cabinets were hanging on by their last screw. The layout was also a bit backwards and wasn't efficient.
I found a great condition kitchen on eBay including appliances. I confirmed the dimensions of the kitchen and ensured the cabinets would atleast fill the design I had in mind. We picked the second hand kitchen up whilst we had the van on hire for the house move. We then were able to store the kitchen in the outhouse until ready to install.

Most of the cabinets were standard sizes however the breakfast island was bespoke and required a bit of tinkering to get it to fit. A few old gas pipes required removing in order for the fridge to slide all the way back. I also needed to modify the sink cabinet to accept the Belfast sink and enclose the gas incomer.
