Been very busy. (well I have to be really) not much time before my third year. With the cage in I continued with fettling with the front and rear frames. The front frame fit nicely in as it was produced by allspeed for the mini mounting points.

However the rear subframe is taken from the rear wheel drive mazda mx5. I needed to shorten this and create a frame that would locate on the strength of the roll cage points and original mounting points on the shell.

I designed and fabricated a pedal box that would mount tidely underneath the dash. This was a mix of steel sheet, box section and the original honda civic pedals. My idea was to keep the stroke and position of the honda pedals as original as possible as they had a nice feel when in the civic. the only change is the length of hydraulic lines to the cylinders and calipers.

I Started to measure up the prop shaft to send off and get cut to length and balanced and I also started researching exhaust manufactures. Found a good looking company in Leeds with a very good portfolio. Keep an eye out for the shiny.....
